What is it about soup in the colder, rainy days? Because I don't know about you but soup never actually "fills" me up but boy do I craaaaave a bowl of hot steamy, gut warming soup as soon as my hands start to become cold on the reg. And what better than a classic french onion soup.

Ahh, hello October.

What does one eat during the month of October? Pumpkin EVERYTHING. And with these crisp mornings rolling in, what pairs well with a nice cup of hot coffee or tea? Scones.

Scones are so underrated. They are cute, flaky, rustic and you can do anything you want with them -and by that I mean, the flavors and toppings are just about endless. Scones are the ultimate morning biscuits, they are known for their dry-ness so you don't even have to worry about over baking. So to me, this is a winner recipe.

guys, it's giant pretzels and mugs of beer season. 

& what I really mean by that is, Oktoberfest is happening! Oktoberfest is a 16 day festival running from late September to first week of October. With so many things happening like music, games, amusement rides, beer tents....and so many things to eat like smoked sausages, roasted meats, sauerkraut, cabbage, and of course...pretzels.

Chicken Parm is just one of those things you can't say no to, but you can easily destroy when making from scratch...in my opinion. The sauce has to be just right...the chicken has to be super seasoned and the right thickness and cooked to a crisp, the mozzarella has to be super fresh and gooey, the pasta can't be over cooked.... But when you throw chicken parm ingredients onto a pizza it's like all the rules are out the door and it just is instantly GOOD. or is that just me?

The cheesecake bars that forever changed my LIFE!

So...here is THE story.

So, I was making these bars for a "reveal party" and BOY WAS I EXCITED! My boyfriend (Tyler)'s - sister (Jackie) is pregnant, having her second child, and this party was for her! Tyler told me about this party 3 weeks in advance, it was to take place this past Friday (Aug 30th) at her house. He told me to pick any dessert that I wanted and of course I pick cheesecake! How can you go wrong?

Whoever though to stuff a pepper with a bunch of cheese and call it a day deserves an award. Then going and wrapping it with bacon? Give that human a CROWN! These are an all time favorite of mine. Growing up, my mom would always have jalapeno poppers on deck and it just became a staple in our household. Not to mention they are so easy to put together and they are perfect for any party!

This is the absolute best brownie I have ever tasted in my whole entire life & I so sadly wish that these were made from scratch. YEP - THESE ARE BOXED AND I NEED YOU TO KNOW ABOUT THEM. They are so easy to make and they are keto friendly. 1 net carb per square. It's THAT keto friendly.
