Mini M&M Chocolate Cookies

The perfect chocolate cookie. Pudding's in the mix! No but seriously, this is the perfect cookie, if you're a chocolate lover. I always loved putting "mini things" into cookies simply because the cookie bite is better. You're not biting into a huge chunk of something, rather biting into something perfect. These cookies are chewy, thick and scrumptious! Perfect with a glass of chocolate milk.

 

Hello Beautiful. Here's how I made them

 

Ingredients:

1 stick of soft buter (room temp)

1/2 c brown sugar

1/2 c granulated sugar

1 egg 

1 cap full of vanilla

1 1/4 c flour

1/4 cocoa powder

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

pinch of sea salt

2 tsp of Hershey's instant chocolate pudding mix

1/4 tsp of cinnamon

1 c of mini M&M's maybe more depending on your chocoholic fever

3/4 c mini chocolate chips

 

Directions:

  1. Cream together your butter and sugars on high speed, about 4 minutes.

  2. Add in your egg and vanilla and blend until just incorporated. 

  3. Get your dry ingredients together, flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and pudding mix. Mix well and add half into the wet mixture.

  4. Blend until just combined then add the rest of the second half and blend until just combined. 

  5. You will be scraping down the bowl a lot to get this really mixed. 

  6. Add in your M&Ms and mini chips and mix for 3 seconds.

  7. Throw your bowl into the fridge for an hour or overnight, I know i'm sorry! But it makes the cookie thick and chewy.

  8. Once that has chilled, preheat oven to 350 degrees. 

  9. Spoon your dough about two tablespoons, onto a cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes. 

  10. When they are done let them rest for 5 minutes on the pan then take them off. 

  11. Best eaten right away when they are warm !!

 

Servings: 13 cookies

Cook Time: 12 Minutes
