Tomato Tortellini {10 minute dish}

There are those nights, which are extremely rare, where I really don't feel like cooking!! I know WEIRD! Last night was one of those nights. Billy asks me what's for dinner, he sees me go for the freezer, and says "Oh no, one of those nights??" It's just as suprising to me as it is to him!

Soooooo then I saw the tortellini and said "I could work with this.."

These hands of mine, became their own person...I started to grab things I seriusly didn't think about grabbing and threw this together in NO time. I literally blinked and there was dinner.

So..if you're in a huge time crunch, here's your recipe.


  • 1 bag of frozen cheese tortellini

  • 1 Tbs butter

  • splash of heavy cream

  • 1 (14 oz) can of crushed tomato

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

  • 1 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

  • 3 Tbs Parmesan Cheese

  • Black Pepper and Parsley to garnish (optional)


  1. Boil tortellini as directed on package (takes 4 minutes to cook in boiling water)

  2. Drain, place back in the pot - over medium low heat - with butter, cream, tomato, salt & pepper, garlic powder and parmesan.

  3. Mix, Plate, Garnish and Serve!!!!
