Deep Dish Pizza

This is probably the easiest pizza I had ever made.
It could be even easier if using a store bought pizza dough!
Alls you need is a cast iron - it's a must.
Otherwise, you could try using a cake pan....or a spring form pan....but cast iron does this pizza good.

You can top it with whatever your heart desires.
Mine needs garlic, onions and basil.
But some crumbled sausage and broccoli - like my recipe here!
Or pears and gorgonzola with honey drizzled.
Or a bacon and chives with swiss....I could go on and on. Because PIZZA IS LIFE.

Just be sure to use great fresh ingredients, simply because pizza is made up of only a few ingredients.
You want the toppings to shine. And especially the cheese - use good fresh cheese!
Speaking of cheese...

So go make some pizza now will ya!
Easy as it gets right here
Ingredients:
Pizza Dough - my recipe here or use premade store dough
Crushed San Marzano tomatoes - or your favorite pizza sauce
Fresh Mozzarella
7 cloves of garlic smashed
1/4 red onion, sliced into thin rings
Fresh Basil
Fresh Grated Parmesan Cheese
Olive Oil
Directions:
Prepare pizza dough - if making from scratch. Otherwise skip to next step.
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees, oil a cast iron and place into the oven to heat up.
When ready - place your dough into the cast iron, you'll hear it sizzle. Prick the bottoms with your fingernails when forming, and let the dough come up about 1/2 inch up the pan.
Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly browned.
Top with garlic, pizza sauce, mozzarella and onions and bake for another 8-10 minutes until gooey and bubbly ontop.
Top with fresh basil and parmesan and ENJOY!

YAS.
